Now, let us just check how to enable this new UI. First of all, you need to make sure that you have Google Chrome Version 68 or newer on your computer. To check it, Open Google Chrome. Then click on the Menu button denoted by 3 vertical dots on the right top corner. Now click on Settings > About. There, it will show the version number of Google Chrome installed and if you need an update, the update will be downloaded and installed from there automatically too.
Enable Material Design UI in Google Chrome
First of all, enter the following path in the Address Bar of the Google Chrome browser, Now, look out for menu labeled as UI Layout for the browser’s top chrome.
Change it from Default to Refresh. It will prompt you to relaunch your browser, do it. Now you will have the all new User Interface for the Google Chrome browser inspired by Material Design.
