When you encounter this issue, you’ll receive the following full error message;

Windows cannot find ‘/OnlineUpdate/LiveUpd.exe’

The genuine LiveUpd.exe file is a software component of Mobile Partner by Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. This process installs as part of Huawei Technologies’ “Mobile Partner” on computers using Huawei USB stick modems for mobile Internet through the 3G/LTE cellular network. It will uninstall if “uninst.exe” is executed from the “Mobile Partner” subfolder, usually found in “C:\Program Files.” Although the exact role of “liveupd.exe” in it is not described, Mobile Partner is a Windows GUI enabling Huawei modem users to monitor and manage their Internet data account with their mobile carrier. So if you have the Huawei modem software installed, you can uninstall the software via the Programs and Features applet in Control Panel. Some users also reported they experienced the issue as they have IObit products installed on their Windows 10 computer. If that’s the case, you can also try uninstalling any IObit software from your system. If, however, none of the cases above applies to you, you can do the following:

1] Temporarily disable the security software on your system

If you have to temporarily disable the antivirus to install other software; you should enable the antivirus as soon as you’re done. If you’re connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to virus attacks.

2] Troubleshoot in Clean Boot state

When you start Microsoft Windows, typically there are several programs that start automatically and run in the background that may interfere with the game. These programs may include antivirus and system utility programs. When you perform a clean startup procedure, you prevent these programs from starting automatically. Hope this clarifies the issue for you!
