How to use the BIN2HEX function in Excel
To use the BIN2HEX function to convert a binary or decimal to hexadecimal in Excel, follow the steps below: Launch Microsoft Excel. Create a table with headings Binary and Hex, or use an existing one.
Under the hex heading type =BIN2HEX(A2,5). A2 is the Binary number you want to convert. 5 is the number of characters we want to use to display the result of the hexadecimal.
